Background and Information
Jürgen Becker practiced as a homeopathic physician and combined this work with research from the very beginning. His aim was to explore the vast field of vital forces on a more fundamental level. What he encountered in practice as illness and healing challenged him to engage deeply with the foundations and possibilities of homeopathy. His path toward a deeper understanding of the powers of remedies was remedy provings.
Together with Dr. Gerhardus Lang, he organized the Bad Boll Homeopathy Days (the Boll Homeopathy Week from 1987 to 1992). They expanded the established approach to remedy provings by introducing group provings. This led to profound insights into the complex processes of remedy action, and the vital forces became perceptible in their unique character. (See also the scripts on the remedy pictures and excerpts from the book New Worlds of Homeopathy and the Forces of Life.)
In the 1990s, Jürgen Becker—stimulated by the experiences and insights of Witold Ehrler—discovered that, in the preparation of remedies (trituration with milk sugar), resonance phenomena arising during trituration offered an additional pathway to understanding homeopathy, homeopathic remedies, and the vital forces.
Jürgen Becker has left behind an extensive body of work. On this website you will find remedy pictures that are rooted in his experience as a researcher and physician. He also ventured into far-reaching perspectives, opening pathways into as yet unknown dimensions of understanding the human being, of illness, and of healing. In this field, much knowledge and research is still needed.
From the dedication to researching trituration phenomena, a close collaboration with Michael Wolfgang Geisler developed. Numerous trituration protocols and remedy pictures were created during this time. For Michael W. Geisler, it was—and still is—deeply fascinating to find profound access to the powers of remedies through milk-sugar trituration. This represents an encounter with creation itself, from which our humanity originates.
The experiences of how, during homeopathic remedy preparation, the unconscious can so comprehensively become conscious, gave rise to a strong inner motivation for deep engagement. In the preparation of remedies, an exchange with a vital force takes place. From the dialogue with the Thuja force (Thuja trituration, 4th phase of the C6 trituration by Michael W. Geisler), the following can be cited:
You are you. This volcano rising from the sea. Only an insignificant part of you lies above the sea, in consciousness. The rest is hidden in great depth. Honor this volcano, which spits its fire toward the sky. It will never be possible to fathom all its depths. Never!
What it casts upward can be understood, and that is enough for this world. Be this volcano in the sea, and also the small island in the vast ocean against which the waves break.
Thuja is a force that, in a special way, concerns itself with the unconscious in human beings and allows access to it. In this respect, it is consistent that the above statement arose in connection with work on Thuja. In the fourth phase of trituration, the focus is on the expression of the soul, and in the C6 potency, on the archetypal force. Thus, the statement conveys that it is the soul-task of the triturator to bring unconscious elements from the field of archetypes into human awareness.
